Add A Program

WHAT IS IT?

Adding a Program allows you to run leagues, clinics, camps, races and much more through PLAYERSPACE. 

ADD A PROGRAM

1. Select the Branch that will contain your program

2. Click the navigation icon in the top left corner

3. Click Add New Branch or Program

4. Click the radio button next to Add a new program and choose branch

 

5. Enter your Program Name (REQUIRED)

    Note: This Program Name must be unique from other Program Names

6. Enter your Zip, City, and State (REQUIRED)

    Note: The city and state will auto-populate after the zip code is entered

7. Enter a Program Description 

8. Enter a Program Slogan/Byline

9. Enter Age Range Served and Genders Served  (REQUIRED)

10. Enter a Program Website URL (REQUIRED)

    Note: This URL must be unique from other program URLs

11. Type in the Program Sport or Type into the box and select from the dropdown

       Note: The Program Category will not register if it is not selected from the dropdown

12. Select YMCA Affiliation (REQUIRED)

13. Select your Association's Data Integration Partner  (REQUIRED)

    Note: If you are entering in Session IDs, select your Association's provider that is labeled with your MMS. If you are manually      importing players, select your Association's provider that is labeled as "(M) (ManualImport)"

14. Select the Program Type (REQUIRED)

MANAGE SEASONS/ ENTER SESSION IDs

1. Within your program, click the navigation icon in the top left corner

    Note: After creating a program you will be redirected to that program's ManagerPro dashboard

2. Click Season Dates

3. Enter a Season Title

4. Enter a Season Start and End Date

5. Click the Add Season button

6. If you are integrating with a third party, enter in session id# manually

 

7. Copy session id# and paste in the second box

    Note: If you have over 15 IDs we recommend you contact PLAYERSPACE for a session upload

           - Mandatory column headers needed from PLAYERSPACE for a successful session upload must include: Session,                             Division, Season Start, Season End, and League ID

8. Click the Add New Mapping button

    Note: Session names will appear after the next download cycle

9. Delete a Session ID by selecting Delete under the Action column

10. Click the Submit button

PREPARE NEW SEASON

Note: Prepare new season is only available when session IDs have been attached to a league before a new season is completed. This is typically done from an API or manual import of session IDs by a PLAYERSPACE administrator.

1. Use the drop-down to go to your Parent Association page or your Branch Association page

2. Click the navigation icon in the top-left corner

4. Click the Prepare New Season button next to the program that you would like to refresh

5. From here, click the New Season Wizard button and follow the New Season Wizard tutorial to finish preparing your new season

NEW SEASON WIZARD

1. Select a previous Program in which you wish to reuse for a new season

2. Click the navigation icon in the top left corner

5. Orientation gives you an overview of what information will be unaffected, archived, or permanently deleted

6. Click the Next button

7. Select the division name(s) you wish to carry through to the next season

    Note: If you are using a third-party registration, the divisions will automatically download

9. Select the team name(s) you wish to carry through to the next season

11. Rename the Season Title

12. Enter new Season Start and End Dates
